Aloe Vera

I’ll start by saying that Aloe Vera is fabulous! I have recently incorporated Aloe Vera into my daily routine and I am already feeling the benefits of it.

I have Fibromyalgia which is a medical condition and it results in me feeling very unwell more times than not. I was only diagnosed in 2014 after having the condition since approximately 2008 so when the doctors started prescribing me every drug possible, I took them without any hesitation. After a year of multiple drugs and no improvement in my health I decided to try natural products instead to help boost my immune system.

Aloe Vera is full of polysaccharides which helps the immune system to work. It is also full of vitamins, amino acids and minerals that cleanse the body from the inside. Aloe Vera strengthens the digestive system by naturally detoxifying the body (so please do not have too much as it can cause diarrhoea) which is great help for people with IBS. It also helps with inflammation inside the body as well as on the skin which is great for people with acne or going through menopause. Aloe Vera lowers cholesterol and blood sugar and this helps people with diabetes and obesity. Not only does Aloe Vera make you feel healthier from the inside but it also promotes hair growth and enhances collagen for flawless hydrated skin.

I have tried Aloe Vera from the plant and the taste is far too bitter for my liking so I opted for a juice version instead. I drink the Aloe Vera juice from Holland & Barrett which costs £12.99. I drink 3 caps a day. I have found that my digestion has improved tremendous amounts and I don’t feel as sluggish as I used to. My skin also looks brighter and clearer which is a bonus. It is a YES from me!
